EthaMail
A bring-your-own-mailbox email client. Point it at any IMAP account and it works.

EthaMail is early. It handles mail correctly but it is not hardened, and the HTML rendering issue below is worth reading before you connect a real mailbox.
Report a bug
Include your provider, whether the failure was on connect, fetch or send, and the server log. Mail bugs are almost always provider-specific.
Provider compatibility
If a provider fails to connect, the useful report is the exact host, port and security mode you used, with the password removed.
Security disclosure
This handles credentials and renders untrusted HTML. Report anything security-relevant privately and expect it to be prioritised over features.
Before you ask
- Verify the same IMAP and SMTP details work in another client first. That separates a provider problem from an EthaMail one.
- Check whether your provider requires an app-specific password; OAuth is not supported.
- Never paste credentials into an issue. Host, port and security mode are enough.
