Docs is a native Android client for the documents living on a Nextcloud instance. The file grid, sign-in and navigation are native; the editor is the same collaborative session the desktop and web clients join.

The heavy lifting, real-time collaboration and operational transform, is done server-side by the Euro-Office Document Server, which is a white-labeled ONLYOFFICE Document Server. That is the same split Google Docs uses, and it is why this app can stay thin.

The client is a wrapper over three proven endpoints: Nextcloud's Login Flow v2 for sign-in, a file listing API, and a config endpoint that returns a JWT-signed editor configuration for a given file id.
